Bos Sires Field Day

Bos Sires is excited to host its first-ever Field Day on September 12, 2026, in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The event will bring together cattle producers, breeders, and Bos Sires representatives from multiple countries for a full day focused on functional genetics, fertility, adaptability, and profitable cattle production.

The morning program will be held at Hacienda La Pacífica near Cañas, with presentations and discussions from Bos Sires breeders and representatives. In the afternoon, attendees will travel to Hacienda Miravalles for a hands-on cattle demonstration and pasture tour, providing an opportunity to evaluate cattle and discuss how functional selection principles can be applied in real-world production systems.

The Costa Rica Field Day will be the first of what Bos Sires hopes will become a series of educational events connecting cattlemen and sharing practical knowledge across different production environments around the world.
