Ferrari is the leading red Mashona bull at Counter Culture Farms, home to the largest Mashona herd in the United States. He was gestated, born, and raised under Ultra High Density Grazing in the hot, humid subtropics of Florida, where cattle are expected to perform on low quality tropical forages such as bahiagrass and bermudagrass without heavy inputs. Ferrari brings down frame size while adding tremendous gut capacity, the kind needed to maintain condition and keep working under intense grazing pressure. He has a calm disposition, an exceptionally smooth, oily slick hide, and produces offspring that show strong resistance to parasites and ticks.
Like most Mashona cattle, Ferrari consistently sires low birthweight calves. He does not fall apart when pushed hard on forage, even during the breeding season.
